A few things in our classroom remain constant:
Levelled Literacy
K - 4 students will take part in the Levelled Literacy program each day in the classroom. It is designed to be a reading intervention program, but works quite nicely in the classroom setting with small groups. Each day we introduce a new book, discuss elements such as the genre, table of contents, glossary etc. After we finish reading, students complete a writing assignment.
Blogs
Every Day 3 on the schedule, the grades 2, 3 & 4 students will be blogging. Please take the time to read your child's blog, and make comments for us to read.
